St Clair Pet Care Vets in Blyth Must Close |
|
37 to 39 Regent Street, Blyth, Northumberland NE24 1LH 0191 385 4200
Compulsory Purchase Order on St Clair:
You may be aware of the regeneration of Blyth town centre, part of which involves the expansion of Morrison’s supermarket. Due to this our building was subject to a compulsory purchase order by Northumberland County Council. We had viewed many sites in and around Blyth to relocate but none were up to the standards we required so we obtained planning permission to build a brand new purpose built unit on Cowpen Road. We had sourced temporary local accommodation to provide onging veterinary treatment while the new building was being built and we were all very excited by the new development.
Unfortunately due to fact we are moving from our existing building the Bank have refused to fund the business due to more stringent lending criteria now compared to when we purchased the practice in 2007. We are devastated as this information has only come to light recently.
We have to be off site by 04 March 2012. With this timescale we appreciate that the closure of St Clair will leave you in requirement of a veterinary surgery and we will happily forward your records to whichever vets you choose to register with.
We suggest you use this online facility set up by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, at the web address below.

Once you have found a new vets just ask them to contact us and we will forward your pets clinical records to them or use the online contact form to notify us of your new vets.
Please note we will maintain your pets cilnical records for the foreseeable future, until you can find a new veterinary practice.
We are having a new line installed at our sister practice Simply Cats, then we will be diverting all queries to the new number, this will allow transfer of records to vets for the foreseeable future, the new number direct is 0191 385 4200
Note this phone will not be permanently manned so the best solution is to choose your new vets and get them to contact us direct for details of your pets clinical history.
We would like to thank you for your loyalty and wish you and your pets every success for the future and are very sad we will not be part of it.
