June 13, 2009 7:15 amThere seems to be a lot of kennel cough going around at the moment. Some people think that dogs only catch this when in kennels, however they can easily pick it up from another dog when out on a walk.

There is a vaccine available which covers your dog for a full year. It is however not a complete guarantee as there are many strains (similar to flu). It will however hopefully reduce the risk or ensure your dog catches a milder form of kennel cough.
The vaccine is £20.00. Please contact the surgery for details. Additionally, if you suspect your dog has kennel cough, please keep them away from other dogs and contact the surgery for treatment
